We wanted it to be affordable, but we wanted classic great looks and bulletproof reliability too, so we made it ourselves. Available exclusively at Huckberry, Standard Issue Instruments is our new baseline for best-in-class pricing and components, starting with a pair of tool watches whose design language tips its hat to the mission timers once issued to deep cover operators in the 60s and 70s.

The Standard Issue Instruments Pilot and Field watches are our idealized versions of the classic tool watch. They're minimalist, standard-issue timekeepers designed with the best components for 'go-anywhere' dependability. And like the timekeeping legends that inspired them, each watch is built with surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and topped off with a scratch-proof sapphire crystal. At the heart of this corrosion-resistant steel case ticks a super-reliable Swiss quartz Rhonda movement. Topside, the dial is finished with bright, C3 Superluminova for maximum legibility, but left unbranded or 'sterile' — another subtle nod to the gear issued to those flying deep into enemy territory.
