Slim Line No. 10 Bubinga Pocket Knife

Color: Padouk

An icon of French EDC, proudly made in France and carried around the world for over 100 years

Flip through a French dictionary to the page containing the word “Opinel,” you’ll see that’s it’s defined simply as a wooden folding knife. Read a little further between the lines, and you’ll see that this little wooden folding knife is in fact so deeply entrenched in French culture that it’s no longer just the name of a company — it’s an icon synonymous with the everyday French necessity, the pocket knife. The Bubinga is a slimline version of the classic Opinel knife, with a slim profile that makes it a great picnic knife for slicing meats and cheeses or filleting fish.

This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring. The Virobloc safety ring was invented and implemented in 1955. This simple yet effective locking system greatly improved the original knife. The ability to help prevent the blade from opening when closed was added to the Virobloc in 2000.
