Mylle started with a gripe, "Why do so many practical things have to look so unattractive?" The appeal of an inflatable pool is pretty universal, especially for folks who live in the city or can't afford to dig a giant hole in their backyard. But if you try to find one, most are made either with an industrial-looking gray plastic void of any personality or are decorated with rubber duckies. At least that was the experience of Mylle founder Kris Myllenbeck, who decided to use her design experience to make an inflatable pool that replaces the kitsch with style, and came up with a beautiful line-up perfect for dipping your feet at the end of a long, hot day.
