- If you’re normally between sizes, round up—size up from 9½ to 10½, then round up to 11
- Brush off excess dirt or detritus with a towel or soft brush
- When necessary, wash in your washing machine on a delicate cycle in cold water, using a linen bag if you have one
- Use the gentlest detergent you own, and never use bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Air dry away from direct sunlight
