When Flint and Tinder’s designers decided to take on the Trucker Jacket — a garment as American as Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival — they knew they had to get it right the first time. So they spent over a year tracking down the most wearable mid-weight denim they could find, with the perfect amount of freedom-granting stretch. Then, to update the jacket’s fit for the 21st century, they added a couple of inches to the length, all while picking out their favorite ingredients from the trucker jacket archives, like a deep-blue indigo finish, and classic “Type 1” chest pocket. The finished product is just ridiculously comfy. And loaded up with the toughness and style that made the Trucker such an undeniable American classic in the first place.
