Based in Tokyo’s Sendagi neighborhood, CHUP makes their socks in limited editions with intricate patterns inspired by the natural world and folk art. The fabric is knitted on old-school stocking frame machines—one of the first knitting machines ever invented—and then finished by linking each loop in the fabric by hand to create a seamless interior.
